The Japanese triathlete, Yuka Sato, won the first medal in Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Game. According to the news, she won the triathlon, which is a multi-sport endurance event consist of swimming, cycling, and running in immediate succession over various distances, on Sunday morning. She was placed third after the 750m swim and dropped outside the top five after 20km of cycling, but she sprint towards the end of the 5 km run. This caused her to cross the finish line first. She was winning in a time of 1hr 00min 49.69secs. She said that she felt very happy to be the first gold medallist of the Youth Olympic Games, and she was very proud to be Japanese. Her inspiration is the triathlon at Beijing 2008, and she thought that one day she will compete on the Olympic stage.
In my opinion, Sato has a big goal in her life, and she may be can succeed it. There are many people who have their goals but they do not try to achieve them. That is not a good thing. People must try to do something to succeed their goal like this girl.
